1. Access to and use of the Feel Good News website
(http://savingfeelsgood.co.uk) (also referred to in these conditions as
“the website”) is provided by ING Direct (ING Direct N.V., 410 Thames
Valley Park Drive, Reading, Berkshire, RG6 1RH) through ING Direct’s
website (www.ingdirect.co.uk). Comments, stories and images submitted
for display on the website are submitted to ING Direct.
2. Only residents in the United Kingdom may submit a comment, story, or an image to the website.
3. If you are under 18 please get a parent or guardian’s permission before submitting a comment, story or image.
4. You agree to use, and submit comments, stories or images to, the
website in accordance with the following terms and conditions.
Submitting comments and images
5. To submit a comment, story or an image to the website you must
complete your name, display name and email address. Only your display
name will be shown on the website next to your comment or image.
6. If you are submitting an image, you must upload the image with
an accompanying image title. Images must be in colour, in JPEG file
format, and should be no larger than 500KB. Images may also be
submitted by post. To do this please clearly write your name and full
address on the back of your image and send it to ING Direct with your
chosen display name and image title to ING Direct Feel Good News
Portal, ING Direct Marketing Dept, 410 Thames Valley Park Drive,
Reading, RG6 1RH. If you would like your image to be returned please
enclose a stamped self addressed envelope with your image. No
responsibility can be accepted for images lost, damaged or delayed in
the post.
7. Images submitted must be free from viruses, locking devices or
other disruptive or potentially damaging programs or devices (together
“viruses”). You will be liable for any loss or damage caused to ING
Direct from any viruses in any image.
8. You confirm that your submitted comment, story or image is your
original work, is not defamatory and does not infringe any UK laws.
9. All comments, stories and images submitted will be approved by
ING Direct before they can appear on the website. ING Direct is not
obliged to display submitted comments, stories or images. ING Direct
may edit and modify submitted comments, stories and images prior to
displaying them on the website. Comments, stories and images which are
approved for display may take 24 hours to appear on the website.
10. ING Direct reserves the right to remove any comments, stories or
images displayed on the website at any time for any reason.
11. By submitting a comment, story or an image you agree to grant to
ING Direct, free of charge, permission to use the material in any way
it wants (including modifying or editing it) for display on the
website. If you do not want to grant ING Direct the permission set out
above on these terms please do not submit a comment, story or image to
ING Direct.
Content of submitted comments, stories and images
12. Submitted comments, stories and images must not infringe the
rights (including intellectual property rights) of any third party.
13. Submitted comments, stories and images must not contain material
that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, abusive, threatening,
harmful, obscene, profane, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially
or ethnically offensive. Submitted comments, stories and images must
not encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give
rise to civil liability, breach any law, or be otherwise inappropriate.
14. Submitted comments, stories and images must not be of an advertising or promotional nature.
15. Impersonation and inappropriate (for example, vulgar or offensive) display names are prohibited.
General
16. Data collected by ING Direct from the submission of comments,
stories or images will not be passed on to any third parties, or be
used by ING Direct for the purposes of sending marketing
communications.
17. The views expressed in comments and stories displayed on the
website are those of the contributing members of the public, and not
those of ING Direct.
18. ING Direct does not warrant that functions available for
submitting comments, stories and images on the website will be
uninterrupted or error free.
19. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
