Growing your own fruit and vegetables

Growing your own fruit and vegetables

Why not grow your own fruit and vegetables in your own garden such as your won tomatoes, potatoes, peppers or strawberries. You’ll benefit from being able to hand pick your vegetables so that they are really ripe and fresh and also save money by not buying fruit and vegetables from the supermarket.

This is a great tip as long as you don't spend more on compost/seeds/containers/feeding & watering than you would spend on buying the produce! My tip is save your own seed from year to year -works great for toms,sweetcorn/ squashes/beans and peas- and use your own compost heap for compost then you really do make savings.

You won't save money on this. Calculate how much time and money you invest and you realized that it is not worth it. YOu can do it fo fun and pleasure but not to save money.
