Friends of Formula Two driver Henry Surtees, who was killed in a crash last July, have completed a 21-mile cross-Channel swim in his memory.
Henry Surtees, 18, son of former Formula 1 champion John Surtees, died after being struck on the head by a wheel from another car in a race at Brands Hatch, near Swanley, Kent.
The A-level students from Worth School in West Sussex set off from Dover, to raise £15,000 for three charities, and reached France in 13 hours and 13 minutes.
Organiser Dominic Robinson, 17, said: "It's been absolutely fantastic, the weather has been really great the whole way across.
"It has been really nice bringing everything to an end, it's the culmination of so much effort."
The relay event involved each participant swimming for one hour before swapping with a team member, in a water temperature of 11C (52F).
The team - which includes Nick Elvidge, Nick Gandy, Rory Pickard, Ben Clyde-Smith, Sasha Richards and reserve team member Raphael Gruber - has been training three to four hours a week for the challenge, as well as doing weights and fitness sessions.
