Most 'content with their lives'

A majority of Britons are happier now than they were five years ago, according to a new study.
More than two-thirds of people are satisfied with their lives although some still feel unappreciated or undervalued, said insurer Aviva.
Being healthy, having strong family ties and sufficient income to be able to afford essentials was key to a sense of well-being, it added.
The survey of over 2,000 people found Edinburgh residents were the happiest, while those in London were the least content.
It also found that a gesture such as a "thank you" from a friend or a loved one did more to cheer people up than material things such as earning good money or having expensive possessions.
Two out of three people said they feel unhappy when people don't take the time to say thank you.
Gary Price, marketing director for Aviva, said: "It is interesting to see that, despite the recession, the last five years have allowed many to reassess what is truly important to them in life."
