Paul Dalglish backs dad Kenny for Anfield hot seat

Kenny Dalglish's son Paul is backing his dad to bring the glory days back to Liverpool if he becomes the club's new manager.
The former Newcastle United striker says his father has a burning desire to succeed Rafa Benitez at Anfield, where he achieved legendary status as a player in the 1970s and 1980s.
And son believes father is the perfect man to transform the club's fortunes.
Liverpool are reeling from a disastrous season which saw the club slump to an embarrassing 7th position in the Premier League, despite many fans believing that it would be the year they ended a painful two-decade wait for the title.
Paul said: “I just think that hopefully he does get it because I know how much he wants it. It would be an unbelievable story for my dad to be going back.
“Some people say, well what happens if it doesn’t work? He’s been out of the game for 10 years.
“My question is, what if it does work? What person loves Liverpool more than my dad?
“Who would Liverpool fans love to see have success more than my dad? Nothing could make my family more proud. I’d love to see it happen.”
