The power of even small savings

The power of even small savings

With finances tight at the moment, it is quite easy to say to yourself "Don't go out at all. You don't have the money" However I have been saving £10 per month for the last 3 months and last weekend I blew the lot! I took my girlfriend out for a meal and she had saved £30 also so we went to the cinema too. By putting aside a small amount of cash to waste is good for the soul!

Sensible thing to do, especially when in a relationship. The only snag is: what if the other half does not settlle for a £30 treat, but expects twice as much or even more? Obviously not your case, so good on you both. I am currently saving some £60 a month for a cheap flight and weekend in Budapest (no lass in tow, though, right now) :-]
